Investigator
Description:
Although most constables are more concerned with putting someone in irons than in
learning the truth about a crime, there are some dedicated agents of the law who
place a greater emphasis on unravelling the facts of a crime. Their ultimate goal
is not necessarily blind obedience to whoever happens to be in power, and they
often operate semi-independently, together with the constabulary, but not for it.
| |
Qualifications:
If you have what it takes to be an investigator, you know that there is no such thing
as a simple crime or an easy explanation. You have a serious compulsion to dig right
to the bottom of the mystery until you hit metaphorical rock, switch to the pick-axe
of your sharp mind and then continue digging.
You're likely to be a suspicious bastard who'd trust no-one, not even yourself. Clues
may be planted, witnesses may be lying, victims may not be quite innocent, and the
drink you just had at
The Badger's Burrow may just as well be
poisoned.
