Mi'Cyon

Mi'cyon was born and had spent his cubhood in a small village to the north of Triskellian, near Three Corners, where three of the largest trade routes of Calabria meet. Ever since his early days, he had been watching his surroundings with vigilant eyes, and as soon as he could hold a pen in his little paws, he had begun to draw quite accurate maps of almost every place he went. He had explored and mapped the area of his home village, and by selling his maps to traders and voyagers, he had made enough money to be able to afford seeking apprenticeship with the Cartographers' Guild of Triskellian - which is what he did.

As a member of the guild, he travelled the length and breadth of Calabria, saw territories and met races he had only heard of in tellings of the traders at their campfires in the evening - and eventually, when the time came to begin working on his masterpiece, he undertook the great adventure to map the wild mountains of Rothos, on the search for safe passages hitherto unknown to Calabrian travellers.

Long months of travelling, observing and drawing passed, but finally Mi'cyon had managed to gather an overview of parts of Rothos, that could at least serve to open up the area to adventurous travellers and other guild members. All would have been well... if not, one morning, he had awoken, shivering in the chill and having not even the slightest clue where - or for that matter, even who - he was. His memory was gone, as were all the belongings he had carried with him. Nevertheless, he had been lucky. The bandits, who had beaten him unconscious and subsequently robbed him, believed that he was dead, and thus just left him lying at the place of the crime. Nobody knows what would have happened if he had opened his eyes only a few hours earlier.

Deprived of his memory and his belongings, and only led by his vulpine instincts that helped him to survive, Mi'cyon began a second life as a hunter in the north of Calabria. He met few people on his wanderings, mostly traders, but he managed to trade some of his quarry for useful items to ease his solitary life in the wild.

Appearance and Mind

Mi'cyon is a male grey fox in the early years of adulthood. He is of quite average size. His fur is salt-and-pepper grey on his back and head, and is fading to a rusty red at his sides. A white patch extends from his throat down to his belly, and there is a black stripe running down his spine, ending in the black tip of his tail.

Mi'cyon is peaceful and friendly, and posesses the wit and cleverness innate to all foxes. However, with his memory he also lost much of his skills of communication, making it sometimes impossible for him to express his ideas and thoughts the way he wants. To those who don't know him, this might seem somewhat... eerie.
