Rhenyis has a partially ripped right ear, a scar over his scruff and two scars over his lower belly region. Due to his fluffy fur he pants a lot in warmer climates than he is used to, and prefers cold places.

Rhenyis tries not to talk about the details of his past. He is out to find the secret of the Twelve Paws and give them to the Army of Purity, which he has been in contact with.

In his attempts to dig deeper in the political quagmire of these rivalling groups, he became entangled in the affairs of The Circus, culminating in his almost killing the circus director Zambiro, a move which didn't prove to be too effective, as it has severely limited Rhenyis's chances of moving politically undetected. He never managed to figure out that Theptonor of The Equivalists was involved in his original distress, not the Twelve Paws as he currently believes.

Rhenyis is back on square one, but it's unlikely that he'll ever give up this search, as it's the most important thing in his life.
