Status: Horse on High Horses, Deceased XPC, played by Andi
Tarek, the old soldier was formerly employed by the Avoirdupois army. He was accepted by the other soldiers,
but was never popular with the officers, since he was always too proud and stubborn to show the proper
grovelling attitude when necessary. Eventually, he was forced out and he found himself in a position where
he had to find other employment to survive. Tarek took the only path he could. He became a mercenary, selling
his services to whomever would pay enough.
Ironically enough, Tarek's dishonourable discharge was his ticket to success. Through a series of amusing
misunderstandings and secret machinations by the Twelve Paws, Tarek
achieved somewhat of a reputation for being a first-rate officer and a war hero. Riding this reputation, Tarek
was able to gain some success and influence.
But alas, success is fickle. When things were finally shaping up and Tarek had the possibility of acquiring
some serious property in Triskellian, his luck had finally been pushed
over the edge, and plummeting to its doom, it took Tarek with it. Tarek died at the sword of a pirate, when
his goal was almost in sight. Indeed, he perished a hero, finally living up to his reputation.
