Status: Militant politician who tries to gain influence over Triskellian, and also quite a boar...

Xygnier (also called Xing the Borg when he's not listening) is the political head and inofficial founder of the secret Army of Purity movement. His only goal is to extend his power and influence, both in Triskellian and in native Doloreaux country. He was a successful noble leading considerable parts of the Doloreaux armies when he was younger, but as he grew older and hist body lost his former vigour, he switched to another pastime that he hoped could quench his thirst for control and power: Politics.

Among the Doloreaux, Xygnier has considerable influence among the nobles of highest rank. He is respected for his military knowledge and successes, and feared for his wrathful personality. Xygnier doesn't care about injuries or death (as long as it concerns other creatures) - he imposes his laws on those under his reign, no matter what consequences might be the result. There is only one goal: What happens has to serve him.

Recently, Xygnier has discovered that the tensions caused by atavists entering the cities of the south can serve him as a vehicle to gain public support for his primary aim: Influence. He is now spreading his theories of atavists trying to take over the civilized world, and (of course) portraying himself as the only politician able to fight the threat. Many people believe him, and nicely swallow the message conveyed by his powerful (albeit lengthy) sermons.

The main opponent to Xygnier's plans is Rashyn of the Rinaldi, who is trying to keep the boar and his dangerous policies outside of Triskellian.
