The Fallen Fox

The Fallen Fox

As taverns go, The Fallen Fox is relatively new and is only starting to get properly established in Triskellian. It's a relatively cheap establishment, but with one great feature: You can allegedly get the strongest beer in Triskellian there. Whether this is true or not can be debated, but the owner, Barkie, swears by it.

The clientele of The Fallen Fox is generally mixed. Slightly unsavoury elements from the shadier parts of Triskellian mix with relatively robust beer connoisseurs and the merely curious. The odd traveller also ends up there, and many are the strange tales that are heard over the bar.

Since The Fallen Fox is not precisely running on a sound financial basis, it is not at all uncommon to see the executive forces of moneylenders who lost their patience. In such cases, fights and other relatively hostile actions aren't uncommon.

People

Barkie (Owner of The Fallen Fox)
Owner of the inn and always ready with a welcoming bark. Barkie is very open-minded and will cheerfully converse about everything with his customers. There's always something on his mind, and beware, lest you get drawn into one of Barkie's schemes for increasing the customer flow.

Sess'ka (Representing the Invisible Guild)
Good friend of Barkie, and arguably the most regular customer of the Fallen Fox. Sess'ka has the longest tab in recorded history, an entire wall at the back of the inn. There are several bets among the other customers regarding whether she will be able to pay her debt in her lifetime. She sporadically uses The Fallen Fox as meeting place for her shady delivery services.

The beer, the beer, the beer...

  • Drink: 5/5
Extra Strong Beer. For that, I cheer. A coach I no longer can steer. That's weird.
  • Food: 3/5
If you get Extra Strong Beer with that, you won't notice the difference.
  • Entertainment: 3/5
Couple of bar fights. Barkie is nice and gave me a beer on the house
  • Lodging: 2/5
Messy bedrooms. At least they let you sleep long in the morning.
  • Price: 4/5
Good prices. They're keeping tabs, so no problem if you're out of cash.
